According to mythology, mankind used to live in 'The Tranquiline Halls': heaven. But then the Voidbringers assaulted and captured heaven, casting out God and men.
Men took root on Roshar, the world of storms, but the Voidbringers followed. The Almighty gave men powerful suits of armor and mystical weapons, the Shardblades. With perspectives that often contradict conventional wisdom, Robert has earned a reputation for straight talk, irreverence and courage. He is regarded worldwide as a passionate advocate for financial education. According to Kiyosaki, "The main reason people struggle financially is because they have spent years in school but learned nothing about money.

Never having read any early May Hooper works, this has me curious as to the rest! Nov 04, Audrey Webster rated it it was ok. Short chick flicky romance. Like a country western song-girl, boy, sex, mystery. Oct 29, Amy Phelps rated it liked it. This was a cute little ghost story. Not a whole lot to it. Easy to figure out which way it is going, no real mystery. Jul 08, Sarah rated it liked it Shelves: mystery-novels. This was a cute little romance with a supernatural mystery that ended up being more of a subplot to the book. If you like cozy romances, give it a try. It's a sweet bit of fluff.
Not bad, it had far to much sexy time in it for my liking. Jul 17, Rick Pinkston rated it it was amazing. Too short, but sweet. I loved the open ending. Never mind that I cried like a school girl at the end, it was a great story. I hope the cat shows up at my house! Slightly simple and boring but I do love Pentodragon the cat! Feb 03, C. I put this aside for several years because its title sounds like a horror novel. This was a very enjoyable, harmless mystery with a few appearances by a spectre who wanted a helping hand.
No killer, no death; only a pure mystery! Other than wishing Josie and Marc had communicated with the ghost and seen him much more, it was a lovely story. In terms of the ghost, mystery, and a wonderful cat; this was my kind of story! A very pleasant surprise from literature I already owned. I mainly balked at his insistence that they recognize profound affection after just meeting. It would be reasonable to progress slowly and for Josie not to have any feelings for him yet. I wish the kitty, Pendragon had stayed with them permanently, instead of being a helpful rolling stone.
However he was vocal and dexterous with his paws like my cats are and I applauded the way he was portrayed. Intelligent, adorable, and much the way real cats are. His dialogue was hilarious because it was apt, the way Pendragon went "Prrrpt"! Josie's secrecy about her project made no sense because nothing about her past threatened her.
